Those people who say they’re against “bootlickers,” where “bootlicker” is anyone who shows the slightest sign of disagreement with them? They’re not actually against authority. They’re just mad they, personally, aren’t the authority.

It's like all the people who are against police brutality but in favor of punching Nazis. They aren't actually opposed to the use of violence, they just think they should be the ones who get to decide when it's used.

I don't think anyone in favor of punching Nazis claims to be absolutely opposed to the use of violence? The argument I usually hear is that punching Nazis is self-defense.
