Some belated thoughts on Fallout: New Vegas
The NCR wants to protect the populace. The way they do so is by establishing a code of law and punishing those who break it. Lawful Good.
Mr. House wants to rebuild the glory of pre-war civilization. If that means helping people, he’ll help them; if that means hurting people, he’ll hurt them. Order and security are more important than any one life. Lawful Neutral.
Caesar’s Legion maintains an inflexible chain of command. Everyone has a role and a purpose, and deviance is punished with horrific torture. There is no such thing as a truly free citizen, save perhaps for Caesar himself. Lawful Evil.
Wild Card is every Chaotic alignment at once.
