Worm’s a superhero story. I haven’t read it myself. It’s . . . You know those stories where the author is sick of ridiculously happy stuff because it’s not realistic, so he writes something ridiculously unhappy and pretends that’s more realistic? That’s the impression I’ve always gotten when people try to explain Worm to me.

Planescape Torment is a video game based on Dungeons and Dragons. I haven’t played it either, but it’s known for being very, very talky, and for giving you a ridiculous amount of options. (There is unique dialogue for pretending you don’t speak a language you actually do speak, asking your party member to translate for you, and then calling him out when he translates wrong on purpose.)
