After getting in an argument about My Little Pony with a user I like and respect

I keep getting blocked by the people where I agree with most of what they post, and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten blocked by the racist blogs. Apparently, I’m more offensive to the people where I disagree with one or two posts than the people where I despise their whole worldview.

ETA: There is a certain blogger I respect more than anyone else on Tumblr. One time, he reblogged a post criticizing pagans who thought COVID was a divine punishment for evil old people. I reacted even more negatively to the idea of COVID as divine punishment than he did, and he got mad at me because he thought I was being bigoted against pagans. Someday, he’s going to decide I’m irretrievably bigoted and block me, and I am going to be despondent.

I'm sorry that your discussion of My Little Pony resulted in you getting blocked. One thing I like about the My Little Pony Fandom is the wide array of fanons and interpretations and how they are generally appreciated in a live and let live atmosphere. So many wonders.
