I just found a TV Tropes entry for a book where the hero ends up permanently in the body of the princess, and the princess ends up permanently in the body of the male dragon, and they get married like that. The hero is NOT happy about this:

One of those settings where there’s a god of men who grants men magic and a god of women who grants women magic, except there’s also a god of whoever. They don’t care; have some magic if you want it.

Today in “we’re going to equivocate between treating someone well and treating someone exactly as shitty as we think they deserve”: people who treat men exactly as shitty as they think men deserve, who are now complaining about men who want to be treated “even nicer.”

Two takes that people seem to think contradict each other, but actually don’t: 1. “How are you?” is a form of social signaling, like meowing. 2. “How are you?” is a pointless question, and I hate when people ask it. I am not a cat, and I do not want to meow at you.
