My cousin has two kids, and she’s having a hell of a time trying to raise them by herself while also holding down a job. But her ex’s daughter by another woman is clearly being neglected, so she’s trying to help her as well, and it’s all so much for her to shoulder. I don’t know what the optimal solution is, but there has to be something better than the way things are now.
