I attempted The Sinking Island
I keep calling this game The Sinking City and then going “wait, that’s a different game.”
There are all these giant “atmospheric” areas with not much in them, and then some of them have teeny-tiny little things you’re supposed to find and pick up, and I kept discovering I needed to interact with things twice. Like, I had the photo of the wood shavings, and that was proof of my deduction, but the game wouldn’t let me continue until I got more evidence. After I finally gave in and looked at Gamefaqs, it turned out I was supposed to both pick up the wood shavings and photograph them.
