Still reading Blood is Mine

Ah, this is cute. Jane’s mother had this whole uncanny valley thing going on where she didn’t talk or move like a “normal” person. The other characters are freaked out by how Ms. Voclain talks and moves, and Jane didn’t even notice, because to her, her mom was normal.
