I never understood those math problems where they give you a list of axioms and ask you to write a proof, because I never felt like I had enough axioms. E.g. a problem where I was supposed to prove the shortest distance between two points, and my axioms proved a straight line between two points. I wasn’t given the axiom that the shortest distance between two points is a straight line!
