I thought about what I could theoretically adapt my Scrapyard Station setting into—just pie-in-the-sky, nothing ruled out as impossible—and the conclusion I came to was that it’s already pretty much R-Type. Fast but fragile spaceships vs. reality-breaking techno-organic nightmares. If you lose, they’ll use you as biomaterial for more horrors.

I swear I wasn’t inspired by R-Type here. I got this from fucking Legend of the Blue Wolves.
