Zettai Hero Project is a fascinating bit of postmodernism. The story is sentai, where heroes are supposed to be honorable. The gameplay is roguelike, where heroes survive by being cunning bastards. So you’ve got characters who think you’re in a sentai story and advise you how to behave based on that, and characters who think you’re in a roguelike and advise you how to behave based on that, and it’s practically a coin flip who’s right.
