Nihilistic environmentalism would be an interesting movement. If nature wasn’t made for our benefit, then it’s not guaranteed to keep functioning for our benefit. If we want to keep utilizing nature, then we must act to prevent its destruction. This doesn’t necessarily lead into ideas like animal rights or preserving natural beauty, but it does push back against pollution and overhunting.

I'd imagine it'd be a lot more pro-geoengineering and genetic engineering than the current environmentalist movements. The deep ecologists would hate it, which could make for some very interesting debates.
