This post about “the sweater curse” makes me so happy I’m not in a relationship. There is no person in my life who would put massive amounts of time and effort into a thing I do not want and did not ask for, then get mad at me for not being appropriately grateful for it.

A less incisive thought on that religious post I was insulting

If God is that which will follow you through every form of suffering and never abandon you or stop loving you, then does that mean "Misery Loves My Company" is actually a Christian song?

(There's definitely a sense in which the overall ethos of Three Days Grace is the evil twin to Red.)

A realization

There are people who think transwomen are liars who oppress "real" women, and there are people who think asexual people are somehow oppressive to gay people. These two groups use very similar lines of argument and rhetorical tactics, to the point that they're easily confused with each other. But a lot of the anti-trans crowd have usernames with "asexual" or "demisexual" in them. Does that mean the people who're making those horrible bigoted anti-trans arguments are themselves being targeted with horrible bigoted arguments? And do they even recognize the parallels?
