This post about “the sweater curse” makes me so happy I’m not in a relationship. There is no person in my life who would put massive amounts of time and effort into a thing I do not want and did not ask for, then get mad at me for not being appropriately grateful for it.

The weird thing about the sweater curse if that often enough, the boyfriend *does* ask for it. Often in terms of, "you like to knit, right? Well, why dont you knit something for me?" I have heard of this happening a few times, and I dont even know that many other knitters.
