Peony looks like she’s twelve and acts like she’s six. She talks to her dog, then acts like her dog answered back. She doesn’t know about, or really understand, most of the ways in which people hurt each other, and her first impulse is always to intervene to stop them. She loves ice cream, cookies, and trying to be a hero. And she kills absolutely everything that gets in her way. It’s like, when someone tells you to leave or they’ll kill you, have you ever considered leaving instead of murdering them?
