A theory: at least some of what’s described as “racism” in relation to Americans’ attitude towards hentai can be explained by Americans not knowing there exists any hentai less than 20 years old.

Plot is about a beast girl spending one last night with her boyfriend before she moves out to escape anti-beastman prejudice.

Last panel: “Though numbed by her absence, I returned to my boring, everyday life. And the town continued to shun beastmen.”

Our protagonist and his plant-monster wife live together with their adorable plant-monster daughter. It’s late at night, and the daughter is asleep in her personal flowerpot. Now the parents can finally have some time to themselves, but the father is worried the noise will wake her.

”Don’t worry,” the mother says. “She sleeps like a log.”
