The relationship between trans people and porn seems to be unique compared to other groups. I’ve heard about Black is Beautiful, but I’ve never seen black folks promote positive self-image through black-on-black porn . . .

There’s too much fiction where your brain is shattered by an unknowable truth. We need more brain-shattering unknowable falsehoods. Stuff like the Anti-Life Equation—it doesn’t have to represent reality in order to get into your head and not let go.

There’s this character in Hand of Fate 2 called Keturah. She’s an elderly bounty hunter who’s dedicated her life to searching for her daughter’s murderer. She has no idea where to find them, so she keeps checking bounties in the hopes they committed another crime. There’s an air of permanent weariness about her, but at the same time, she seems constitutionally incapable of stopping. As the game puts it, “Until she finds her daughter's killer, she will not rest, she will not die.”
