These two takes seem untrustworthy and potentially dangerous to me, in the same way and for the same reason.

“Christians believe in things that are prideful and hateful, but [insert religion] believes in things that are loving and humble.”

“Men like gross, exploitative porn, but women like sweet, romantic porn.”

My actual response to “atheism is a religion” is “fine, then. I’m not an atheist. I’m just a person who wants you to shut the fuck up about religion.”
