I was going to dunk on Genshin Impact for not having its dark-skinned characters actually be dark-skinned, but thinking about it, Arknights doesn’t have that many dark characters either. We’ve got Tuye (Central Asian), Thorns (Spanish), and Ethan (I don’t even know.) The other characters like Flint (indigenous South American) and Carnelian (some kind of African?) are the same light brown as Genshin characters.

Apparently, the Chinese game with a whole bunch of dark characters is Dislyte? I’ve never heard of this before.
