Probably, but the tone is different. In Undertale, you’re the one corrupting everything by making Frisk kill, and you still get guilt-tripped even for going back in time to fix things. In Death End re;Quest, the deck is so hopelessly stacked against the protagonists that only you can save them. One character eventually concludes that you aren’t the god of death, but the god of resurrection, bringing them back over and over in defiance of fate.
