This keeps happening

I don’t like level grinding, so I just do the bare minimum to keep playing the game. It gets a little harder, but it’s still beatable. Then it gets a little harder, and a little harder, and a little harder, and then I’m almost at the final boss, and I’m ten levels below where I would need to be in order to have a chance at winning. So I stop playing for several months, forget where I was, and end up restarting the game from the beginning.
This post brought to you by Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children, which I am eighty hours into. If I played a normal game for eighty hours, I’d be high enough level to one-shot the final boss. Here, I’m underleveled and constantly struggling.
