I'm gonna give up and ask for game recs. I like solving puzzles, finding secrets, and turn-based movement. I don't like permadeath, twitch reflex gameplay, or playing the bad guy. I have somehow managed to burn through my entire backlog, and I have no idea what I'll play next.

When you say "solving puzzles", do you mean you like games that are all about puzzles, or do you more mean there's some puzzles but the bulk of it is something else? Your preferences as stated here sound a lot like my partner's, but I'd sorta gotten the impression that they were way different, from the games you've described in the past.

If y'all do in fact have similar preferences, a couple of games they've played through semi-recently have been Filament, Superliminal, Carto, Wintermoor Tactics Club, and Qube 2.

If you don't require narrative in your games, and I don't know if you've played it, but Baba is You was another that they'd liked.

Obra Dinn is the opposite on that metric; it's entirely narrative. (Also entirely logic, but definitely entirely narrative.)

Ummm... I liked Full Bore! You play a digging sapient piggie! :D You try to get from point A to point B via running, climbing, pushing, or digging your way through the obstacles in your path, and you get to explore and learn about the world you're in! It's sometimes spooky, but in the "this all happened a long time ago and you're left trying to piece it together" way.

There is very little combat, you can often sit and take as long as you want to figure out a puzzle, and it is definitely an "easy to learn, hard to win" kind of game, which I like very much! :D (Though heads up, I didn't know which way I was "supposed" to go, so to save you from my confused fate, I encourage you to wander around and check out as many dead-ends as much as possible!)
