On Lanes

I once wrote a story set on an isolated Pacific island. I researched everything from naming conventions to the timing of low tide at various phases of the moon. I have no doubt that a person who actually lived on an isolated Pacific island would create a more authentic view of that life, but they wouldn’t write the same story I would, and I wouldn’t want them to. I have my story, and they can have theirs, and I think both stories can mean something.

Due to a glitch, high-level guns in Anthem are less effective than low-level guns

So, is it relevant that Anthem takes place in a world where the gods abandoned creation before it was finished?
