I only picked up Bugsnax because the ending was spoiled for me, and it sounded so cool that I wanted to see how it played out. I gotta say, they really laid the foreshadowing on THICK.

I’m playing Ouroboros

Things SierraLee is happy to roast:

* Saving princesses

* Companion affection meters

* Femme white mages who are useless in combat

* Femme dark mages who attack with whips and wear steel-plated heels

* Healing at inns

* Armor that’s only useful for one dungeon and becomes worthless for the rest of the game

* Throwing money down a well over and over because it’s vaguely hinted you’ll get some kind of bonus from it eventually

Things SierraLee seems to be okay with:

* When the only way to proceed with your world-saving quest is to rescue someone’s lost cat

Clearly, this dev has not been wronged by the same games I’ve been wronged by.
