Why are air elementals drawn as half-naked thin women?

One answer: air elementals are thin because wind is insubstantial, and their clothing is barely there because air feels like it’s barely there, and they have boobs because . . . I dunno, why not?

Another answer: because it fucking WIMDY. The artist is “it.”

Stephen Law argues that “you can’t jump in the same river twice” conflates two different definitions of “same.” If two bowling balls are identical, they’re qualitatively the same. If a black bowling ball is painted white, it’s quantitatively the same as when it was black. It’s arbitrary that our language uses the word ”same” for both of these definitions, and if we used a different word for one of those definitions, the fallacy would be obvious.

I was looking for a webcomic to read. I remembered something called Use Sword on Monster. Turns out it hasn’t updated in months because the author is working on other projects.

I remembered something interesting-sounding called PS238. It’s the same author, and updates have slowed to a crawl.

Maybe you have too many projects, dude.
