This is very on-brand as a Dungeons and Dragons novel. It’s also a textbook portrayal of traumagenic DID as it was understood in the ‘90s. It squares this circle by realizing that traumagenic DID is perfect for an angsty D&D adventurer who feels misunderstood by other people.
