Triangle Strategy endgame thoughts: Benedict is an asshole, Roland is too self-hating to think straight, and Frederica thinks she can build a plan out of fairy farts and wishes.
I’ve read your posts about how the kinds of characters I like all bore you. This is the first time I’ve read one of your stories, but you were pretty proud of it, so I figure it’s representative. It’s about a misanthropic twit who gets himself killed while trying to live forever, and about a prig who watches and judges with only the vaguest investment in anything that happens. This is your idea of how not to be boring?
A completely different thing I will never have the guts to straight-up tell a different mutual: you are more wedded to your aesthetic values than any of my other mutuals. You post a lot of research and references for why people who like different aesthetics than you are depressed and unhealthy. Maybe it’s right, but it all seems incredibly convenient that you never once have to make a choice between what appeals to your aesthetics and what makes the world better.
