Oct. 4th, 2022 06:04 pmWhenever a YouTube funnyman cheats on his wife, there’s another meme post on Tumblr joking that YouTube funnymen are cannibalistic serial killers. I don’t find it funny, since I don’t know of any overlap between YouTube funnymen and murderers. If anything, the meme should be that YouTube funnymen all cheat on their wives.

A: people should stop saying “listen to POC,” because they keep using it to mean “agree with POC when they say dumb shit.” Consider what POC say, but don’t automatically agree with them.
B: “Listen” doesn’t automatically mean “agree with,” and assuming that it does is a Christian thing. Reconsider your culturally Christian biases, and listen to POC by considering what they say, without automatically agreeing with them.
People call me condescending sometimes, but I’d like to think I’m less condescending than B.
