What the hell is Mountain doing? From his new operator module, the Hyde brothers died in a way he seemingly had no involvement in. (From his skin, he killed them and got away with it.) But there’s something he’ll “do next” that will have blowback he doesn’t want R.I. involved in. The only thing I can think of for him to get revenge on is big business as a whole. Is he gonna bomb the stock exchange or something?

Interesting how Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has villains who are essentially vampiric, but avoids most of the traits that would normally be used to make vampires compelling and/or sympathetic. It’s got the thing where you become a vampire because you’re bullied or abused and want the power to never be hurt again, but that’s about it. The token good vampire who mourns the mortal friends he outlived is a senile old man, not a brooding bad boy, and vampirism itself is portrayed as disgusting.
