feotakahariA surprising amount of the “racism in fandom” discourse actually boils down to “fandom doesn’t take my fave story seriously.” And you are going to drive yourself mad if you expect most of your fandom to take your story seriously. A lot of your fans are going to be casual fans, and that has nothing to do with race.
