Reading Usagi Yojimbo. I’m 50+ chapters in, and I gotta say, if I had read these in real time, I would have gone completely out of my head waiting for some kind of explanation on what the fuck is up with Jei. It’s a low fantasy setting that goes entire arcs with no magic, and then this one guy brings up cosmic horror implications without ever quite confirming it.
