One time when I was browsing in a bookstore, I found a parody of books that analyze the themes of fiction. In this case, the fictional “author” analyzes the themes of neo-Nazi literature, approaching it without condemnation. The real author’s idea is that some stuff can’t be analyzed neutrally, because it’s so nakedly ideological for such reprehensible purposes that the ideology needs to be taken head-on.
I was reminded of this when I saw that Snoot Game has a TV Tropes page, with YMMV entries talking about things like character interpretation and fandom reaction. The characters are whatever most efficiently mocks trans people, and the fandom is folks who think trans people are stupid and ridiculous.
