feotakahariI once read a review of the Desperate Housewives video game that claimed female gamers don’t want to be fed all the fun at once. They want a little fun, then a pause, then a little more fun, and the DH game is built around that. I think it’s bizarre to gender this, but it’s definitely a type of person.
Today I read a review of a Soulslike called Lies of P. It talks about how fighting the bosses can be tedious, but winning and proceeding to the next area gives you a rush. It says LoP is one of the few games that understands why Dark Souls is good.
Conclusion: Dark Souls is the same genre as Desperate Housewives.
