I was reading about comics on TV Tropes, and now I’m trying to come up with a definition of “harm” that could be used when interacting with wish-granting entities. So far, I’ve got involuntarily killing, injuring, mutilating, transforming, mind controlling, immobilizing, imprisoning, traumatizing, and removing or weakening senses. I’m not sure what wording would be best to handle other forms of illusion and trickery without impeding anything that’s okay. I’m also not sure how to properly define “injury” without just kicking the can down the road.
