We’ve had enough mentally ill characters who are knife-wielding maniacs. I feel like the opposite would be a mentally ill JRPG healer girl. She hears the voice of the north wind, and learns the secrets of rocks and trees. When she’s exhausted, the worms in the earth encourage her to keep going. She loves the world and everyone in it, and the world loves her back, though the people in it can find her a bit exhausting.
