A few episodes into Symphogear

The way Symphogear handles the soundtrack is weird. It doesn't seem like the characters need to practice their songs--they're tied to some kind of instinct that comes out when the armor activates. But the songs aren't tied to the armor itself, because some of the lyrics match what the characters experienced when they first gained the armor and what they're fighting for. And when Hibiki is emotionally compromised and her old song wouldn't fit her, she spontaneously creates a new song. Apparently, the aptitude for songwriting is one of the gifts the armor brings out in you.
