Probably my most MRA-adjacent opinion: don’t try to perform gender just to get a date. People who insist on heavily gendered BFs or GFs should be allowed to stew and wonder why they’re dateless. I tend to think about this in terms of women who only want a “manly” boyfriend, but I’m sure there are still trads who want a subby stay-at-home wife, and there’s some weird shit sometimes about expectations for “butch” or “femme” queer people.
