Training Digimon in the new game feels like the ice cubes post. Every 30 minutes, come back to the farm to see whose stats rose high enough they can Digivolve. You can tell them remotely to repeat the same training, but do you really remember which ones were close to done and which weren’t? In order to reconfirm what the Digivolution requirements are, you need to remove the Digimon from the farm, check the requirements in your Digivice, and put them back, one by one, and if you don’t remember each Digimon’s unique Digivolution requirements, you need to do this every 30 minutes. Except it’s more like every 20 minutes, because you just spent 10 minutes reconfirming Digivolution requirements. And you can’t just skip training, because your Digimon only has 400 Spd and needs 1000 Spd to Digivolve, so effectively any time not training is wasted. Change your mind and want to go for a different Digivolution with different requirements? That’s also wasted. And also you need to juggle which Digimon are using which training equipment, so if you only have one classroom and are trying to get that Digivolution that requires 1137 Int, no one else can raise Int while you’re doing that.
