Among other things, they apparently pocketed the money from a fundraiser for earthquake victims. That’s pretty bad. https://www.animefeminist.com/report-ufotable-owes-400-million-yen-in-unpaid-taxes/
I’m reading Kimetsu no Yaiba
Apr. 13th, 2019 05:01 amI love the way this manga handles different styles of swordsmanship. Each style begins with a fairly rigid set of moves, but the development of a skilled sword-user involves refining the style into something more suited for their individual strengths and weaknesses. Some characters use relatively unusual styles to take advantage of a strength or compensate for a weakness, while users of classical styles develop strategies to apply old skills in new ways. The protagonist combines moves from multiple styles, while another character focuses on practicing one move to use it as well as he possibly can. There’s a sense that each generation is iterating on the prior and giving the next one a stronger base to start from.
(And then you have the character who sucks at conventional sword styles, so he uses a shotgun in his off hand. Whatever works.)
