I lean more towards trans Nora Valkyrie, because she’s a very specific kind of trans person you meet on Tumblr. Like, if you’ve ever read the story “Utopia, LOL?” the narrator is the same kind of trans person.

Aug. 24th, 2019 05:23 pmI was reading another of those books where the love interest is a sexy, morally ambiguous assassin, and I got to thinking, what would this character be like if she weren’t designed for sex appeal? Keep the emphasis on stealth and trickery, lose the flirting and emotional manipulation. Definitely keep the guilt over past crimes. Determined to hide her true emotions, but without the flirty aspects, she’d probably come across as a lot more stoic. Keep the slowly warming up to her teammates and acknowledging them as her friends …
