The biggest assumption here is that folks haven’t watched Paw Patrol. There was this thing on TV Tropes a while back where people who had watched the later seasons of Spongebob Squarepants thought Mr. Krabs had become ridiculously evil and belonged on the Complete Monster page. Other people who didn’t watch Spongebob anymore thought that was stupid and there was no way Mr. Krabs belonged on that page. I think someone actually got banned from TV Tropes for insisting Mr. Krabs was a Complete Monster! Now I’m seeing posts by people who did watch Paw Patrol and were offended by such-and-such, and posts by people who didn’t watch Paw Patrol and think being offended by Paw Patrol is obviously stupid, because it can’t possibly be that bad . . .
I'm reading The Infinite Loops
Jun. 13th, 2020 04:22 pmThe Infinite Loops: characters who don't appear in canon change in each Loop. Each new instantiation is effectively a new person.
Me: Okay, but what if a canon Looper fell in love with one of these people, and then she was erased in the next Loop? And then he went on an epic quest to bring her back and make her a Looper as well . . .
*I am forcibly sent to the Eiken loop before I can come up with canon/OC shipping*
Me: Okay, but are there any characters in Eiken who are fun or interesting? What if a Looper fell in love with an Eiken character, and he kept getting sent to Eiken on purpose so he could see her?
*This time, I’m dumped off in Ren and Stimpy*
