Originally written in response to one of those posts about how subby women are all brainwashed

I expected OP to be a TERF. Turns out they’re fundamentally and impressively the opposite. They’re so in on “gender is a social construct” that they don’t identify as a woman, because the social construct of “woman” demands someone who has heterosexual patriarchal sex, and they’re a lesbian. Which actually undermines this argument MORE than when the TERFs make it. If you accept the argument that lesbians aren’t women, and lesbians can love being subby, then there must be more to being subby than the oppression of women.

Saw a post from a POC, requesting that white people not ask "Is it okay if I do X?" but rather, "what are you thoughts on X?" The former question makes it sound like you're asking them to speak on behalf of all POC, and they're only comfortable speaking as an individual.

Of course, that's just one individual saying that.

I respect what N.K. Jemisin is saying about why she wrote superhuman monsters as a metaphor for black people. But she's really undermining her old argument that there's no way to write orcs without being racist.
