“Drug seeker” is such a stupid concept. You can’t say someone who’s in desperate need because they’re going through withdrawal is different from someone who’s in desperate need because of chronic pain.

The fantasy of a lover who cares more about you than the world, and will destroy lives for your benefit, is the equal and opposite to the fantasy of the lover who cares more about you than themself, and will destroy their own life for your benefit. People who think one is a universal fantasy are just as wrong as people who think the other is a universal fantasy.
