Atheist blogger in an unrelated post: “atheists treat Judaism as if it’s always a liberal, essentially secular thing. You need to recognize that Jews can also be bigoted assholes.”
As an atheist blogger, I lean towards the latter viewpoint. If someone votes against gay marriage, it doesn’t much matter to me whether they’re voting for Christian reasons or Jewish reasons.
