“It's inspiring that such an artistic, niche game can make it onto a platform like Steam, which has such a large audience and wide reach. But it's sad that in the case of Mediterranea Inferno it still didn't make much of a difference. At least, while I write this, the game sits with fewer than 25 reviews. And yeah, this game isn't going to be for everyone -- it's a homoerotic thriller with a very loud art style and it touches on numerous triggering topics -- but damn if it isn't one of the best games to drop in 2023 anyway.”

There are people for whom this game will be catnip, and at least one of them reads this blog.
