Every once in a while, a government or a corporate overlord tells a social platform “We’ll punish you if you don’t get rid of the white supremacists.”So the platform tries to get rid of the white supremacists, and they never have time to investigate all the reports to see if they’re accurate, so bigots mass-report people who speak out against bigotry, saying “this person is bigoted; ban them.” And at the end of it all, the white supremacists are still there, because they’re remarkably persistent about making new accounts after each ban.

Then again, depending on whether Steam can legally ban you from playing the single-player games you bought from them, remaking might be less practical. (Regardless of whether you’re a white supremacist or just mass-reported.)
