The only other game I’ve (attempted to) play in this genre is the legendarily difficult Marathon. In some ways, this feels harder. It’s true that frequent heals and armor drops give a lot more room for error, but it’s also a lot faster-paced as you’re bombarded with projectiles from multiple directions. You can never stop moving long enough to aim properly.

(Big fan of the zombie that tries to bludgeon you with a severed head. If you headshot it, it puts the backup head on its neck and continues forwards. Sometimes there’s a narrow line between hilarious and disgusting.)
