This is the obscure first game in the series, where Claudia is a brave, scholarly, fundamentally innocent little girl. Before I knew it existed, I played the better-known sequel, where the grown-up Claudia is a bitter loner who doesn’t even remember her friends anymore. I get the impression that if I’d played this game first, I’d probably have been pissed off about the sequel.
