In response to a post about how easy mode in Dark Souls is “missing the point”

I don’t think missing the point is necessarily a bad thing. Like that one person who read an Anne Rice book, didn’t like it, and made it into a cup. Anne Rice sicced her fans on them for disrespecting the book, but I don’t think they did anything morally wrong. In the same sense, I don’t think that guy who modded Dark Souls to play at half speed is doing something better or worse than someone who mods Dark Souls to star Sonic the Hedgehog.
