Shout out to that time Dwayne McDuffie parodied the living hell out of the Black Bomber, a proposed but never-released comic where a white racist turns into a black superhero. McDuffie proposed that BB would ask “Can I say the N-word?” and Vixen would tell him “No. You absolutely can’t.” DC vetoed the mention of the N-word. In other words, McDuffie asked “Can I say ‘Can I say the N-word?’” and DC told him “No. You absolutely can’t.”

From an NSFW story I’m reading: magic is associated most with living things, and secondarily with the natural forms of things. The more a tool or object has been reshaped from its original components, the harder it is to use spells on it. So it is really hard to use magic to rob an ATM.

People want Meta Runner to explore the worldbuilding and backstory, but it can’t, because the plot is relatively serious, and the worldbuilding and backstory are dumb as hell. It basically has to wall the two off in order to function.
